West Coast Centre for Learning, a comprehensive educational institution offering diverse programs for all ages, faced significant hurdles with their online presence. Their existing website was challenging to navigate, lacked any form of SEO optimization, and failed to engage visitors due to its clinical approach to design. Additionally, unlike our usual projects on Squarespace, this project required us to dive into WordPress and the Cornerstone editor, presenting a unique challenge outside our standard workflow.
Embracing the opportunity to broaden our expertise, we collaborated closely with the Centre's in-house technology specialist to overhaul the website. Our redesign focused on creating a user-friendly interface that mirrors the Centre's inclusive and vibrant approach to education. We prioritized intuitive navigation and engaging content structures, ensuring that the site's design would captivate visitors and clearly communicate the range of programs offered.
Recognizing their need for weekly content for social media, blogs and email campaigns, West Coast Centre for Learning enlisted our services for ongoing website maintenance and content creation. They wanted content that fits within their previous branding but included the creativity and vision that we provided with the redesign . Each month, we deliver relevant and engaging blog posts and social media posts that highlight the vast array of cutting edge programs they provide. We also are available to West Coast to add new programs, create email templates for Mailchimp, and create beautiful and informative brochures.
The result was a redesign that shifted the West Coast Centre for Learning's website from clinical to creative, making it an inviting digital space for prospective students and their families. By leveraging WordPress's flexibility and integrating effective SEO practices, we significantly improved the site's functionality and user engagement.
